Jah Cure, czyli Siccature Alcock, urodził się 11 października 1978 roku na Jamajce. Debiutanckie nagranie artysty to „King of the Jungle” z 1997 roku.
W roku 1998 artysta został aresztowany i skazany na 15 lat więzienia za posiadanie broni, gwałt i kradzież. Jah nie rezygnował jednak z muzyki – dzięki temu, że miał wtedy dostęp do studia nagraniowego, wydał trzy albumy i kilkanaście singli, które – w czasie, kiedy muzyk przebywał za kratami – królowały na jamajskich listach przebojów.
Pierwsze wydawnictwo to “Free Jah's Cure The Album the Truth” z 2000 roku. Kolejne to “Ghetto Life” (2003) i “Freedom Blues” (2005). Po warunkowym zwolnieniu, artysta wydał kolejną płytę – „True Reflections…A New Beginning”.
